If it's working, you are probably ok.
I need more info for a solid diagnosis though.

1. How fast is the memory's sequential access? Usual numbers are:
a.   12nS-15nS (66MHz buss) 12 is probably ok at 83 MHz, 15 at 75
MHz b.  10nS (Sometimes incorrectly called 100 MHz) Good to 95 MHz
c.   8nS (PC-100) Good to 100 MHz

If you can provide the numbers off a chip, i can look them up.

2. What Motherboard? Processor?
