<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> Good news! For celiacs and others in Canada, the new anti-inflammatory drug called Celebrex from Searle is now available. It became available in the States in early January & I've received posts from American celiacs who were very happy with Celebrex. The best attribute of Celebrex is that unlike other anti-inflammatories, it does NOT cause ulcers or internal bleeding with long-term useage. The bad news: it may not yet be accepted by extended health plans - still gotta work on that detail. Cost is approx. $1 (Canadian) a pill. Now, about the So Nice soy drink. The company ran short on funding last year, but just recently another maker of soy drinks (So Good - the reconstituted drink from Australia) decided to purchase the assets & plant etc. of the So Nice company. This drink was marketed both in Canada & the States, was totally g/f (no de-proteined wheat starch in So Nice) and it came in a variety of flavours. Hopefully we'll soon see So Nice back on our store shelves. I'll let the list know as soon as I can get confirmation from the new owners. Helen in Vancouver, BC
