That is actually noted if the user opens FDISK, which would verify the
conversion you have stated.  Doing the algebra gets you the conversion for
8.x GB = 9.x GB.  As for specifying this, I have not seen this specified in
an add.  The KB is not the same as kbyte (KB=1024, kbyte= kilo byte = 1000
bytes) in common usage.
