<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> Hi, everyone... First of all, I had hoped to reply to everyone who had so kindly and graciously responded to my request for information re: my post of several weeks ago, subject - "Celiac undiagnosed," but came down with pneumonia and a sinus infection and just haven't had the energy. So, I guess this time around, I'll have to feel okay with a 'thanks so much' to the group of people who sent me info and encouragement. My Dr.'s appt with my gastro is on Tuesday, so I'm hoping I'll know something in the next few weeks. Since I've been a bit under the weather, I've been reading the posts but not keeping close tabs on who wrote what. Just recently, however, someone wrote requesting information on GF milk - is there a good one out there? Does anyone know about Vitamite? It's lactose free, but contains milk protein. I seem to tolerate it much better than standard milk, but because I drink up to four gallons a week, maybe it's part of my problem. Also, to the person who wrote today about Prilosec not being GF, thanks! Just another bullet in my arsenal. I kept telling my gastro that Prilosec made me feel lousy and didn't seem to help, and Prevacid seemed to work better. He claimed Prilosec was considered the 'better' drug for hyperacidity. Humph! Sometimes, with so many drugs in my system, I think I don't know what works and what doesn't. It's nice to know I can really trust what my body tells me. And, speaking of drugs, does anyone know about Allegra, Ritalin, Klonopin, Premarin, or Tylenol Arthritis (Extended Relief)? I can call the pharmacist for the drug companies' phone numbers, but thought I'd check with you all, first. If I don't hear from anyone, I'll call on these drugs early next week and report for those who may be on these medications. To the person who wrote asking about kidney disease, though I'm as yet still unofficially diagnosed, I suffer from chronic hematuria caused by sclerosing of the glomeruli. If I become officially diagnosed, you can add me to your list. Thanks, again, to everyone for your incredible support. I am truly sorry not to have gotten you all written individually - you certainly deserved a personal note! Ayn.
