Greetings all I'm trying to find info on black tea. So far what I have found is that black and green tea come from the same plant. That black tea is just dried longer by way of heat and humidity. Because the leaves turn dark this drying process is called fermented or oxidation. From what I can tell there is nothing added during the drying process. I don't see that this would be a problem on a paleo diet. Am I wrong? Why would the drying of these tea leaves be any different than say drying meat or fruit? Any one know or have any comments?
