I'm curious about this.  Would this be true of *any* substance a person
had not had in a long time, or only of substances they were intolerant
of to begin with?  I've also heard vegetarians say that after a while
off meat, any meat at all would make them very ill.  Is it possible that
even if someone *wasn't* celiac or gluten intolerant, they'd develop a
reaction to a first re-exposure to wheat after some time without it?
