<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> Hi, Thanks to you all who took the time to respond to my question about if Chili's restuarant had any GF items on their menu. I got several varied responses: - One person called Chili's on the phone and inquired as to the GF status of menu items and she was told that they could not confirm the GF status due to cross contaminiation and outside suppliers. - Another person emailed the Chili's restuarant and received a response from Christie LaRue in the Guest Relations Department. She also stated that Chili's could not guarantee any of their items to be GF due to cross contamination, adulturation and also indicated many items on their menu have wheat and its derivatives. - A person in Arizona says Chili's is not GF but the resturant will work with you. She has the Carribean salad there and has them make the chicken without their soy sauce marinade and also has them eliminate their tortilla chips which are not GF. She has checked out the salad dressing ingredients and they appear to be fine. She stays away from fries as there is too much chance of contamination. - A person in South Dakota has had chicken without seasoning/marinade and corn on the cob. She says Chili's will work with you if you let them know what you need. - Another person from Indianapolis has had Chili's make up plain cheese nachos for their 3 year old daughter even though they are not a menu item. The child has not had a reaction from this. - A person in Ohio showed up at Chili's with a bun, and the manager noticed and came over and asked what he could do for her to make sure she had a GF meal. He made sure she had a GF sandwich and was extremely helpful and concerned. She recommends taking your own bread. - A person in New Mexico always orders a guiltless chicken platter. - One family's five year old son always eats bbq ribs and fajitas at Chili's and has never had a reaction. They usually bring their own corn chips and never order the fries due to the contamination. hope this all helps! Thanks again to everyone who replied to my question. Robin in CO, USA
