Adding RAM will not change and/or effect your resource situation. It is independent of the amount of RAM you have. With everything I load at Boot, my resources are around 54% and I have 256 Mb of RAM. Yes I can get it up to around 95% if I hold down the shift key on boot up (have even for the fun of it configured for the least loading of programs and have been above 98%). I have no problems until my resource get less than 15% or so. That normally happens only when on the net and browsing. (Run resource meter to monitor situation) Have noticed this memory leak since day 1 of Win95. Closing the browser(s) will return my resources to about 10% less than when I first opened the first browser window. When the resource do drop, closing all but one browser window will not get them back. I have to close all browser windows. No one has been able to explain this situation. I have been using MSIE since day 1 and now have version 4.01sp1. I understand from friends/clients that use Netscape that the same thing occurs.
