Check to see if there are jumpers on the motherboard to disable on board video.
If not then check the BIOS in the CMOS setup.

Good Luck,

Subject: [PCBUILD] Adding a New Video Card

I have a Packard Bell computer that I use and the motherboard in it has 2M of onboard video. If I ever wanted to upgrade the video and add a video card with more ram, would I be able to do this and somehow disable the onboard video through Device Mangager or some other way? Would this be possible? I would like to someday upgrade my video to 4 or 8M but the only way I know to do it is add a new video card since I don't think the video on the motherboard could be upgraded.
