 You are right.I have built several computers but am not real familiar
with formatting them since I try not to unless it is really a must.
 The boot sequence was wrong so I went into CMOS and changed it so it
would boot from "a". Made a boot disk from another computer with the
same Win version a.
 Booted with the disk.At the a:/ prompt typed in format c:\s Got the
message about loosing all my data and typed in the Y to continue and got
the same "insuffecient memory " message.I'm sure I am missing something
very simple here but I don't know what it is.
