Just got off the phone with a representative from my congressmen's office
regarding the earlier message pertaining to a possible charge by long
distance phone companies for using the internet.

According to the information I received, no action is scheduled to take
place on this issue in the immediate future. I was informed that since this
is a new congress, more pressing issues would have to be handeled first.
The person I spoke too will be contacting the appropriate people in DC and
will get back to me after the holiday.

Now, should we totally buy into this reasoning? Is CNN missinformed? Any
comments?
