Hi Fred, >I'm having trouble with a hard drive.....Its a 3 GB seagate.... starting >from a blank HD. Could you walk me through the new setup. This is not a >replacement so I don't have a hd to copy from. > >I do have a win 95 cd setup flop disk and a win95 cd I would like to suggest, one of the first things you do is visit the SeaGate web site and download the information on the model of drive you have. You can also download their installer programs: Diskmanager and Diskwizard. The documentation that comes along with these programs is in great detail and tells you just what steps are required to install your model of drive on your system. After you have done the above, and still have questions, drop another note to PCBUILD and then those questions can be answered.
