<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> Dear Listmates: Thanks everyone who has let me know that I'm on the right track. I had an idea this morning that I want to pass along. I have found the method Baskin Robbins uses to list possible allergens quite helpful and it can be used world-wide. They use a series of picture symbols to designate wheat, corn, dairy etc. etc. Picture symbols are also often used on traffic signs to by-pass possible language problems. We all recognize the picture symbols for STOP, CURVE AHEAD, DON'T PASS. We also recognize symbols for washrooms & wheelchair accessibility. So, why can't we lobby together through our national associations - celiacs, diabetics, lactose intolerant, etc etc for uniform picture allergy labelling? Again, let me know what you think about this idea and/or if you have any other ideas & I'll post summaries of the suggestions. Helen, Vancouver, BC Canada
