<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> Dear Celiac Listserv members, I spearheaded a project with the Celiac Disease On-Line Support Group to create an on-line GF product list. Use this list with caution. This list was compiled from lists of gf food products used by list members, which were posted on our forum message board. This does NOT guarantee something is gluten free. This is a guide to calling and verifying that products are gluten free. Products frequently change ingredients, so verification is important. If you find a product which is NOT gluten free, please email me immediately with the product, brand, and phone number of manufacturer in order for me to make corrections to these pages. Because I put in dozens of hours assembling the posted material together and formatting the webpages, the pages and all links to the gf list are copywrited by me, Abigail Neuman, 9/10/98. You may link to these pages, but I do not give permission to use this list in other web pages, nor may you use this list for-profit. You may print the material, email the material, and post material at will as long as this web page is sited as the source. This list would not be possible if members had not participated in the creation of it. I would like to thank everyone who participated in this project. I would especially like to thank Glenda from our group for being so organized with her own list. This really helped me to organize all the material. You may view initial postings in the Celiac Disease On-Line Support Group forum message board. Some of the material I gathered from emails which were sent to me directly. If you wish to add to this list, please visit our forum and post your list there. Please do not submit material directly from any other published gluten free list which you have not personally verified. Please submit only products which you have called on personally or have received written verification from the manufacturer on the gluten free status of the products. Also, please try and avoid dublicating products which are already on the list. I would recommend that you print out each page and write down additions on the list before submitting additions to the forum. There is only one of me and many of you. It takes a long time to review everything for duplicates. Some duplicates I have kept in the list if they are listed once under product name and again listed under a manufacturer's name in that category. My preference for collecting initial material is to list first the brand, second the product name, third the type/flavor. It is also helpful to list products in groups according to the following categories which are currently being used on the Celiac Disease On-Line Support Group Gluten Free Food List: 1. Alcoholic Beverages 2. Baked Goods 3. Baking Supplies, Misc. Ingredients 4. Beverages 5. Candy 6. Cereal 7. Condiments 8. Dairy 9. Desserts 10. Dressings 11. Fast Food 12. Flavorings and Spices 13. Fruits and Vegetables 14. Meat 15. Medications, Toiletries, and Household Products 16. Mexican 17. Potatoes, Rice, and Pasta 18. Salty Snacks 19. Soups 20. Syrups and Jellies 21. Tomato Paste and Sauces http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/Spa/4003/gf-index.html There are literally hundreds of products on the list. Please help us by posting to our forum, and I will ad your products to the list. It is wonderful being able to print out a page or just use the control/F in your browser to search for a key word on the right page.
