Oct. 1 Dr. Raman Returns to Answer Email Questions Oct. 8 Steve Gilbert with the Teaching, Learning and Technology Group is joined with Dr. C Green who has conducted a nine-year-long campus computer survey to discuss current trends in technology and education. Dr. Coombs and Richard Banks discuss its implications for students with disabilities. Raman is with Adobe Systems and is insturmental in makeing PDF files accessible to all people. He revieced his doctorate at Cornell University in 1994. It outlined a sophisticated auditory interface to electronic documents. Raman described AsTer in a video interview. The interview covers the topics of access to Adobe, PDF files and EMACS Speaks, an intuitive screen reading program for Unix and Lynux users.
