<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> Thank you all for your comments on the status of French Toast Crunch Cereal. I didn't realize that this subject had come up before. Oh well, here is what I found out. Twelve responses from a total of 17 from listees said the cereal was GF and they haven't had any reaction it. One person said it wasn't GF. Diane H. said she contacted General Mills when the cereal first came out and the company said they couldn't say whether their cereal was GF or not. (no surprise here) But that the cereal was not manufactured separately from gluten containing cereals. Bev said that French Toast Crunch had no gluten in the ingredients, but the cereal was not made in a gluten-free environment & there is a risk of cross contamination. The same holds true for Kellogg's Corn Pops & Kellogg's Nutra-Grain (Almond-Raisin). Other good choices she suggested were Malto-O-Meal Corn Burst or Quaker Coco Blasters That settles it, a definitive "I don't know" but I am willing to try the cereal since no one reported a reaction to it and the 12 Celiacs who said it was GF have been eating it for sometime.
