<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> The question was: Is there a definitive list available of which suppliers of supposedly gluten-free foods use corn-only xanthan gum? The only useful reply I got was as follows: Most of our packaged xanthum gum available here comes from Kinnikinnick or El Peto - both very reputable specialists in gluten free food. I feel confident that their products are gluten free. However, I would be hesitant to consider buying the xanthum gum available in bulk in some outlets. Guar gum can also be made from a non gluten free source, so again I stick to the brand names mentioned above. -- To reply, remove the "s" from "waves" before sending. \/ Shel Bercovich [log in to unmask] [log in to unmask] /\ Join the Trail Riders of the Canadian Rockies (Non-Profit) / \ See our WEB pages at: http://www.canuck.com/~trcr / /\ \ Or at: http://calgary.shaw.wave.ca/~sbercovi / / \ \ "Come Ride with Us in Banff National Park"
