<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> I have some questions and I was wondering if any of you could help me. I have been recently diagnosed with CD 4 weeks. I started on the diet 4 weeks ago and have made mistakes mostly due to ignorance. This site has helped a great deal. I keep reading about leaky gut. How do I know if I have this. Since I started on the diet I have not had diarrhea for the first time in 9 years. I am tired but I also insisted on allergy testing and I am allergic (no surprise) to a great deal of pollens, grasses, molds, dust mites and I am beginning to receive shots. I am hoping the tired feeling will get better and I am attributing the feeling to the other allergies. Upon my insistence My 13 year old daughter was given the celiac panel blood test. My doctor called to tell me that 3 of the four tests were negative yet the most sensitive test was positive. She is scheduled for a biopsy in April. Is it possible to have positive blood tests and a negative biopsy? She has shown no symptoms. Can anyone explain the four tests and what they mean. Also what are anti endomesial and anti gliden? I've tried to search what they mean but can't seem to narrow it down on the "net". I'm sorry this is such a long message but I have so many questions. Thank You. Joan [log in to unmask]
