<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> >Three people called the manufacturer of the drugs for themselves before >having a prescription filled. One of these people has the doctor write "Not >to substitute" on the prescription. (I'm guessing that this way insurance >will pay 100%, even if its not generic). The reason I ask the doctor not to substitute is I only have to call one company to find out if it is gluten free. When I have it refilled I am sure it will not be filled by another company's generic brand. I have never had a problem where I could not take the prescription because of gluten. If it does happen I know my pharmacy will let me check the generic brands until I find one. Ginny Mingolla [log in to unmask] New Jersey, USA
