Dear all Thanks to all whose advice helped me solve the problem of no fonts ion Win word 97. It seems I installed a generic printer driver to drive an old 9 pin dot matrix printer. This old Oki became my default printer. When I reset my ink jet printer as the default printer all the fonts returned. The easy things that slip our attention are often the cause of our most baffling problems.
