Here are the indications I received from many of you: Old El Paso regular and 25%less sodium, was indicated by several people and it is also listed in the Try County list. Ortega Taco Seasoning Mild and Hot McCormick's - has potato starch as a thickener Chi-Chi - although the GF status of the product has not been checked with the company. A great idea is also to make your own taco seasoning mix. Thanks to Gayle in Boise for providing the following recipe, that is equal to 1 package of seasoning mix. Taco Seasoning Mix 2 teaspoons instant minced onion 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon chili powder 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch 1/8 teaspoon crushed dried red pepper (more if you like it hotter) 1/2 teaspoon instant minced garlic 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Can be stored airtight (in foil packets) for up to 6 months. To use, add to browned ground beef along with 1/2 cup water. Simmer for 10 minutes. Thanks to everybody, I already tried Taco's based on your suggestions and they are really good! Angelica
