<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> Hi all, I've just spent 5 hours going through recipe archives... I'm not up to date on all that's been posted so I hope this is not a repeat of recent topics... My daughter is on an elimination diet for 6 weeks. No corn, dairy, wheat, nuts. Man, it's hard!!! I was surprized when I read in the faq that celiacs can't/shouldn't eat bran malt or graham. I had hoped they would be options... We've been using barley malt as a sweetner... you all can't have that? No oats, spelt or soy? Does soy include all soybean products? I can't believe I'm saying this but please don't tell me we can't have tofu! Should we try to eliminate all of these things from her diet since we suspect wheat allergies? I don't think she has celiac disease after reading the faq but I guess I just really don't know at this point. Does anyone have a good recipe for tofu ice cream? Tried one last night that wass about like eating library paste. Also needed to know: are there some vendors that carry large numbers of the products you need? I'm pushed to the max right now just trying to learn how to feeed her much less trying to find a place to order some of the specialty items. Our local health food store has really scared me; many of the GF items have corn flour in them... is this common? Funny sideline, my non-allergic daughter has had awful stomach pain and diarrhea since we went GF + dairy-free. Thanx for all of your help! Jeny
