<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> Hi everyone, I posted a question a while back about second hand smoke and if it carries any gluten properties. I did not receive any responses back then so I thought I'd try again. I remember reading the posting that prompted me to ask this question. It was about gluten in cigarettes and cigars. Is the gluten in the tobacco itself, the filters, where??? And if in fact there is gluten, does it burn up or become airborne? I recall my children being at a birthday party where there were people smoking. When we got home after being at the party for about 4 hours my two celiac children had terrible tummy aches, and seemed a bit congested. I was certain they did not ingest any gluten as I bring all of their own food to such occasions. It was after I read the posting about gluten in cigarettes that made me think maybe it was the smoke. They are very rarely around smoke so it could be they are just sensitive to it but I would like to be sure. If anyone knows anyting about this subject please let me know :) Thanks, Chris in Ontario
