Hello all - A friend who has been out with me to restaurants in Washington,
D.C. sent me an article from the July 1997 issue of Veggie Life:  Wheat-Free
Indulgence by Carol Fenster, Ph.D.  The lead photo is of a wheat-free pound
cake with rasberries.  It is in the "Healing & Prventive Foods" section of
the magazine.

There are paragraphs on wheat and gluten, when wheat becomes
life-threatening, digestive distress, healthy grain seekers, hidden sources
of wheat and gluten, and converting recipes to wheat free; setting up a
wheat-free pantry, wheat-free resources; and then recipes for wheat-free
sugar cookies, wheat-free pizza crust, etc.
