Hello Bev,

I just read your post and I started on Levoxyl only yesterday. My dosage is
0.75mg once a day. Yesterday was an awful day. I took the pill about 10:00 am
and by 12:30 I was so very hyper, shaking and tremors and fast heart rate. Of
course by the time I reached my doctor at 4:00 pm she said it couldn't have
been the medication and it was anxiety. I know my body and when I react to
medication. But you know the that the DOCTORS know everything and the PATIENT
knows nothing. HA HA.
Today, I only took half the dosage and I am fine, no problems. I'll keep it
at this dose for a few days and then try and increase it.
I do take it AFTER eating breakfast. Don;t know if that will work for you,
but maybe give it a try. I had NO nausea or stomach problems and stomach
problems are usual
for me. Levoxyl is a common synthetic hormone that is given very frequenty
for thyroid replacement. It's main name is Levothroxine and there are many
brands listed under that, and Levoxyl is one of many. Hope this helps. If you
can look thru a PDR at your library you will find information all about this
drug.

Hope you are feeling well soon. If you feel like chatting just e-mail me.

Regards,
