Hello,

I'm sorry for posting this so late, I'm without a computer now and being
a student is always difficult.

There seems to be little information about this subject.

My question was "what foods could interfere with potassium absorption?"

Apparently none.

here's the most informative message that I got:

" we often give it with meals as it can cause an GI upset. It also can
leave a metallic taste in the mouth. According to my book, potassium
rich foods are beef, chicken, ham, turkey, veal, fish, beans, broccoli,
brussel sprouts, lentils, spinach, potatoes, bananas, dates, prunes,
raisins, avocados, watermelon, cantaloupe, apricots, molasses.

If you are taking potassium tablets, do not use salt substitutes.

We have had people come to ER in total paralysis because of eating too
much potassium ."

thanks.
