<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> Hi Everyone I have just come back from a week skiing in Sauze D'Oulx in Italy. While there I went to an excellent restaurant named Ristorante Del Falco. I handed the owner my GF explanation in Italian from Jax Peters Lowell's book "Against the Grain". He said he was shocked to learn about such a food allergy and had never seen anything like it through the more than forty thousand meals they had served since opening. He said it made him stop and think how people just take eating for granted and could not begin to imagine how difficult it must be to be on such a diet. He spoke to the chef and then came back to my table several times to emphasise that the chef would cook anything I wanted and would make every effort possible to make sure I enjoyed my meal. The strange thing is - when I went back there a second time he told me that he had another customer with exactly the same GF card in Italian forty minutes after I had left. If that person is a member of this list - hello, sorry I did not get to meet you. ( I am the Irish guy that quite famously crashed the skidoo twice :) ) For quality of food and GF frendliness, I personally highly recommend; Ristorante Del Falco Via Assietta 6 10050 Sauze D'Oulx (TO) Italy Tel: 0122 85 80 63 Owner/manager: Vincent Hawkins Regards to all, John Cheshire London, England
