With regard to legume (bean) intolerance, it has been my experience
that those with hypoadrenia (incipient Addison's disease) have an
intolerance for potasium rich foods (beans).  As there is a relationship
between CD and Addison's disease, those with intolerance may have
stressed adrenals. Reduction of caffeine, stress and nutritional support
of the adrenals will often result in greater tolerance of beans.
