It can be one nut, many or all. My husband has a severe reaction--hospitalization type--to peanuts, and a mild reaction to almonds. Some people cannot do brazil nuts or walnuts. The reaction may be from a stomach ache to immediate violent vomiting. So. it may not be the fat at all this person is struggling with, but the protein (that includes the oil--my husband has to avoid thai food cuz they use peanut oil frequently!). Again , nuts are right up there with eggs, milk and wheat on the common allergy list. Hope this helps?! Shellie Kepley (Tulsa, OK) [log in to unmask] Question you've never been asked?
