Their criticism also involves the site and method of biopsy (suction versus forceps, proximal versus jejunal) and lack of immunological measurements. Response defends the biopsy method with 2 citations to the literature and points out that the same method was used for all four groups: that preliminary immunological results find no differences (but no endosymial) and says the study is continuing for five years.
