<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> Hi all, I'm going to re-type the message, and hope it works out this time: Osteoporosis posting I believe I am the person who posted an article on osteoporosis: Lindh, et. al. "Screening for antibodies against gliadin in patients with osteoporosis" JOURNAL OF INTERNAL MEDICINE, vol. 231; pages 403-406; 1992 "Intestinal disease might contribute to osteopenia. Measurements of IgA antibodies to gliadin have been established as an accepted screening procedure for detection of celiac disease. When we applied these measurements to 92 patients with verified osteoporosis, 11 subjects (12%) were found to have elevated levels. .................................. ...................................................................... This gives an incidence of verified celiac disease that is approximately tenfold higher than that in the healthy population." I just typed the highlights of the abstract. I hope that is helpful.
