<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> Hi All: In relation to Larry Toole's e-mail re: low bld sugar and others re: inability to gain sufficient weight--I wonder if anyone has had experience with chronic fatigue without a typical gluten rxn and while being gf for many years. Though my recent biopsy showed a healthy lining, I am still chronically fatigued. I have been gf for 10 yrs (confirmed celiac 31 of my 32 yrs) and dont avoid restaurant contamination and subtleties like tomato paste..however my condition is not sensitive to minute amounts so as to have a typical rxn. My only "gut problem" is chronic gastritis (without infection per stomach & duod biopsies). Has anyone had good biopsies and noted an ongoing problem with fatigue/ chronic food absorption problems/ other disease states... or know of info, statistical or treatment related? My typical day consists of eating tons of protein-- perhaps not enough fat, but also regular, specific carb consumption.. at intervals of a few hours(--You would think I am pregnant!) I am always on the verge of fading out and becoming slowly responsive to my environment and never feel 100% My blood-vitamin levels, hormones appear o.k. and my blood sugar test dipped drastically upon the 5th hour of fast and rebounded in 6th. However, my body was so unsteady by then, that I feared my judgment to drive home--basically a nervous mess. I've tried singling most of the major foods that I eat for a few weeks at a time without any improvement as well. Thanks for any thoughts or related experiences! Pam Hill Tucson, Arizona
