Hi everyone:
 
I'm new to the list, and I'll be up front and tell you that I have no
food allergies myself (that I know of), but my mother does, and she
has no access to computers.
 
I have recently found the book Food Fix: Meals That Heal, by Nancy
Hamilton. It is for wheat- sugar- and dairy-free cooking. My question
is this: How do the recipes in this book compare to others with these
restrictions? I can make them myself, but have nothing to compare them
against, since I am fortunate enough to be able to eat anything I
like.
 
The book is new (1996), but I hope someone here will have tried it. I
would just buy it for my mom, but she is very bad at sticking to her
diet, and gets easily discouraged by recipes that are difficult,
tasteless, or "weird".
 
Any help much appreciated.
