She mentioned using Bette Hageman recipe for bread machines. I have used Ener-G rice bread mix which calls for 2 cups of the mix. I used 1 1/2 cup of the mix and 1/2 cup amaranth flour. It was better than just the straight rice flour. I do not know if a similar substitution of a maranth flour for part of the recipe would work as well in a bread machine. Judy Smith [log in to unmask]
