I decided to send the answer to Marks questions to the whole list since it could
be of interest.

The Red Star machine makes a square loaf so cutting isn't a problem. The size
of it is about the height and width of a normal loaf of bread, but the length is
the same as the width (square, almost a cube). We wondered if something was
wrong when the loaf didn't take up near the whole height of the pan. We finally
decided that they design them like that so you don't run it over. The size and
texture of both the GF bread and "regular" bread are wonderful. It shouldn't be
a problem for a bread slicer, but we don't have a slicer to know for sure. We
left the mixing paddle in and it was fine. There was a small whole and slit in
the bread where it baked with it in but nothing terrible. The paddle stayed in
the machine when we took the bread out.
