In this case, *BEWARE*. I ordered GF meals on my last vacation. (US
Air). What a joke! Entree (okay) served with rolls and a brownie! My
husband's low-fat meal was actually better suited - at least *he* got
fruit for dessert! Check what choices are offered - you may be better
off with a fruit plate, a seafood plate, or the Muslim meal (on United,
this was a very nice plate of brown rice with a salad and a couple of
nicely cooked lamb chops!) Watch what's on your plate, and be prepared
to substitute or leave behind.

Best suggestion: survival food in your pack/carry-on. I *always* carry
dried fruit and nuts with me (along with a chocolate bar or two when
traveling to cold weather areas). The two extra pounds in my baggage
isn't much considering how often it has saved me (try finding a GF,
dairy-free snack in a hurry in an airport!)

Happy flying!
