Dear PeterI have already said hello for you. And for Gianni. I have referred to you as a friend with whom I differ on subjects but a friend I admire and for whom I have respect. I have tried to be here on my own terms, so as not to create an advantage simply because I know people like you, Gianni, Dan, and Margherita. I think I have succeeded in that.
Do you know George Smolen? We are having dinner with him in about an hour and a half. He translated for me on the first night. He is a very busy man!
We will be back in Poland on the 27th. It’s going by way too fast. I can do without the 18 hour train ride between here and there, but right now it’s all there is (I’m not trying to drive it; I’d end up in Russia).
Two more lectures. The Phenomenology of Addiction and Faith During Psychotherapy.
We get back home on October 1st, two hours after we leave Warsaw. And sad to leave Europe.

That is true Phil. And more: if we collapse we can't process anything. The cultures that support not collapsing make therapy much easier, not just war.

We hear about Bucha. 511 (and still counting) people murdered. Many left in the streets. Many tortured in basements for days. But we don’t hear much about Borodianka anymore. Dignitaries are not brought there. It’s a small rural town where a bomb took out the center of an apartment building, and we saw the place on the news when it happened. What we didn’t see was what happened then. The people buried the dead in a mass grave behind the ruins of the apartment building and piled debris on top of it.
Had a great session night before last. Two hours on post-secularity. Today a workshop on spiritual abuse and unfinished business with God. This place (Kyiv) feels like home. I understand, Peter, why you like Ukraine so much.
