IMHO, screen size is a personal preference. I know many totally blind people who like the larger screens. I know I appreciate the larger screen sizes on my S7 and iPhone 7 over my iPhone 4S. I do think the Plus phones are a bit large for my taste, but like I said, I think this is personal preference and I don't think it's the case that just because someone is totally blind they don't appreciate the additional room they get to explore their screens.

Hi ALL:

 

First, it seems that Apple will no longer make the iPhone SE.  That is a real shame.  Being totally blind, I certainly do not need the larger screens.  In fact, it is much easier to navigate, and do texting, with the smaller screen.  Oh well ...

 

My question is: what is the current wisdom regarding updating to iOS 12 on the iPhone SE?  I had heard that it would help battery life on phones like mine.  However, with Apple no longer making them, it seems to me that they will not be doing much to improve the useability of this model.  Does this make sense to anyone else?
