I made a few corrections to this poem. I also want to share that the theme of the poem, the visitation, revolves around four main concepts: intimacy, conception, labor and delivery. These concepts are part of the process of bringing about something new and transformative. There is also the aura of the force of a supernatural presence which when faith summons allow for  the birth of this new and transformative spirit.

The inspiration for this poem is also drawn from my introduction to the Biblical verse of Genesis Chapter 18, in which Abraham develops an intimacy with the three angels that visited him. And one of the concepts in developing any relationship that will eventually have the end product of  a delivery is to have an intimacy. And the process of childbirth also starts with developing an intimacy.

I will not give away the nuances of the poem, but the elements of intimacy, conception, labor and delivery as evidence in Genesis Chapter 18, and the delivery of  a son to Abraham's wife at an old age speaks to the birth of this new and transformative spirit.

The wind blows
 and caress your face
the rivulets stream
and fertile the ground
the voice of hope
a salutation at your door
embrace it
open the door wide open.

The rivulets stream
 and the ground is fertile
the wind echoes
 the power behind your back
the voice of hope assures
 that you take a stand
open the door
and be intimate with the visitor.

The ground is fertile
 to conceive
at the womb of oppression and repression
the cruel pains of wickedness and evil

which scarred your face
which silence your voice
which fear makes you hide
it is the labor of your conscience
the pangs of something new to be born.

The wind blows
and caress your face
the rivulets stream
and fertile the ground
the wind echoes
the power behind your back
the voice of hope assures
that you take a stand
your door is wide open
now is the time
something new is to be born.
