Surprise, surprise!!  David’s suggestion works in OUTLOOK 2013 as well!!!

Boy, you never know what will work, unless you try it!

An even quicker way of attaching a file to a message is to do the following.

Locate the file you want to attach by going into the folder where the file is located. For example, if the file you want to attach is located in the Documents folder, open that folder, locate the file and press ctrl-C to copy the file into the clipboard.

Next, go into your Outlook inbox.

Instead of pressing ctrl-N to start a new message, just press ctrl-V to paste the message.

What should happen is that the new message dialog will appear, with the pasted file set up to be attached.

I used Outlook, and checked the place where an attachment would go and it was there.  I’m getting ready to call the person who I E-mailed the item to right now.

Jeff

What did you attach it into? Outlook, Internet browser email also, did you send it to your self first and order to make sure it works?

HI all, I justthought I would pass a long something I have just discovered.  I was trying to make an attachment to send to someone, and it was a document, and I thought I would try cutting and pasting it.  When I had the file itself highlighted I copied it to the clipboard, and then when I got to the message I just pasted it and it attached wonderfully.  Just something I thought I would pass a long.
