The Information Technology (IT) department of the ACLU's national office in New York City seeks applicants for a full-time IT Training Specialist position. OVERVIEW Reporting to the Learning Solutions Manger, the IT Training Specialist is responsible for the design and delivery of training related to the ACLU fundraising donor database. The Specialist works closely with the Enterprise Database System team, the Development department and other training staff to design and implement training programs that focus not on "how-to", but rather on how the organization can use technology to be more strategic and effective in accomplishing its work. The Specialist will use a blended training approach that includes in-person, online and on demand programs, that provide a customized training experience designed to meet the unique needs of individual teams, offices, or staff. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Manage a nationwide shared database training program for 53 affiliate offices as well as the ACLU national office. · Participate in the design and implementation of training for the new ACLU CRM systems. · Manage the current fundraising database training program during its phase out, and prepare for the rollout of the new CRM system. · Work closely with the Enterprise Database team to design and develop CRM related training materials. Act as facilitator for in-person and online training sessions; design and create on demand training opportunities. · Manage the current LMS system; track requests and approvals and monitor employee progress through all IT Training programs. · Work closely with teams within the Development department and Affiliate Support department to provide learning opportunities that combine technology with ACLU fundraising best practices. · Act as the subject matter expert and project lead for all IT training initiatives within the Development department VICUG-L is the Visually Impaired Computer User Group List.
