They are definitely not made to work together. How about trying out Zoomtext Fusion? It is Zoomtext plus a full screen reader. They have apparently merged Window Eyes in with it. I have tried the demo a little bit and have liked it. A client of mine says he is loving it. I am on Windows 7, Zoomtext 10 & still on Jaws 14. Zoomtext frequently loses focus & fails to track even though I have these settings set properly. ZT also frequently freezes up & I have to use task manager to close it. I don’t think ZT is nearly the quality product it used to be. Perhaps if I had the latest Jaws, there would be problems there too but no problems with Jaws 14. > > I guess I would strongly recommend you try the ZT demo version for a while to see if you have problems with it. > > Best, > Sherry Wells > > From: Amy Bower > Sent: Monday, December 07, 2015 10:48 AM > To: [log in to unmask] > Subject: [VICUG-L] Jaws speech plus Zoomtext magnification? > > Hi – is anyone using this combination successfully? I used to, but found increasing incompatibility years ago, so switched to Magic magnification. But now I’m running into problems using Magic with some other products, like J-Say. I might have the same problems with Zoomtext, but just wondering if the Jaws/Zoomtext combination is working these days. > Thanks. > -Amy B. > > Leave list: [log in to unmask] > > VICUG-L is archived on the World Wide Web at http://listserv.i cors.or g/archives/vicug-l.html > > Send questions on list operation to [log in to unmask] > > Leave list: [log in to unmask] > > VICUG-L is archived on the World Wide Web at http://listserv.i cors.or g/archives/vicug-l.html > > Send questions on list operation to [log in to unmask] VICUG-L is the Visually Impaired Computer User Group List.
