You don’t mention which version of Outlook, but in 2010, Alt p will select the Options ribbon, where there is a “Show Fields” section.  There you can select to always show ”From” when sending messages.

Once that is showing, when you are in a new message, and wish to change the default, Alt m will bring up your difference accounts for you to select from.

Subject: [VICUG-L] switching accounts in Outlook when sending an email

Hello,

Can someone help me figure out how to select which account or email address I wish to send a message from?  I have to accounts in my Outlook, gmail and work, and cannot figure out how to select which email my message will go out to.

Terri
