Subject: report from cancer docttor

First of all, the doctor  was very friendly, answering our questions. Dad does need the surgery, the tumor was right on top of the muscle that controls bowel movements. The scar tissue they see is probably due to radiation, but there could be some remaining cells ofcancer. He is going to another surgeon next week to see if there is any possibility of being able to avoid having to wear one of those baggs for the rest of his life. Even with the removal of the colon, there is a small chance cancer could come back. He would need to do chemo for 12 weeks after the surgery, but just for two days a week; so we will see what happens.

Thanks for continued prayers.

Rhonda
