Lamin, the Giant has fallen! In the end, it is not how much money he had, or that he was the "First Black President of SA", etc. Rather, it is what he did for his fellow humans. I am inspired by the meaning of his time on earth. He did more than his part with countless other South Africans who lost their lives and generations that are still poor and marjinalized in that country. If all of us did even a minute bit of what he and his fellow countryfolk did, Gambia will be a much better place. I celebrate his grateness, but I focus more on what he was willing to sacrifice to reach the mountain top. He literally gave up everything. There is still some good around us.
