It is best to learn how to fild program the UV5R. The software is not as
accessible as it could be and it takes more time to set up the software than
it is to learn the radio. Use the miklor.com website to answer some
questions. If yo wish some coaching, I am available. 73. Gary KB2YAA

Hello All
My surprise gift from Santa was a Baofeng UV5R. The document from Buddy was
great. Where can I get the complete manual? This is my first HT I have ever
had so there is a big learning curve. Any suggestions as to how to quickly
to connect to a Repeater? I am a complete a novice. I need an Elmer LOL.
I have connected the HT to my PC and can get to it by Chirp. Not friendly to
JAWS.
At this point I just want to be able to connect to someone and I will build
on that.
