Bob: Well, I would consider taking the chance and just doing the update, but can't determine how to do that in the update window that comes up. Plus, it seems a shame to do the update if the current version works just fine. Again, my problem is that I can't get out of the update window after playing an audio stream without shutting the computer down. Using Jaws 14 here with Windows 7. Well, I guess it's my turn to join Ed (K7UC) with a computer frustration for the day. I recently installed Winamp 5581 on this Windows 7 computer, and have found that, whenever I access a streaming audio file on the web, I can't exit out of Winamp when I am done because of an update Winamp screen that appears. I do not want or need an update, but I can't find any way to get out of the update window. The only way I can turn winamp offis to shut down the entire computer. Has anyone encountered this problem, and, if so, how have you resolved it? I'm using Jaws 14 here. Tom Behler: KB8TYJ
