DRIVE jammeh OUT or VOTE jammeh OUT
        Prologue: Fellow Compatriots,
I urge everyone to stop the Political Jockeying and Partisan Posturing. There is a new Slogan in Town, DRIVE jammeh OUT or VOTE jammeh OUT. Gambians have been hurting for too long and OUR Country is at a brink of a serious Crisis. A Country without Laws to govern the lives of peoples’ ordinary day to day living and doing business is akin to living in the wild.  Partisan Posturing and jockeying for Power would NOT CUT IT. So Let us do the Honorable thing and the Reasonable thing, rally together Drive jammeh Out or Vote jammeh Out. People would be held accountable should we go down this line Again. This is not an Academic Exercise Peoples’ lives are being Wasted every day that goes by. We have been through Four (4) Election cycles to have this FOOL for a leader, Enough. DRIVE jammeh OUT or VOTE jammeh OUT.

        PROPOSAL:
If there is ONE Thing that the majority of Gambians in the Gambia and the Diaspora wish, dream, live, breathe, work and pray for every minute is to get rid of jammeh and his rogue administration. Our only difference is how to get it Done. It is not for lack of trying that jammeh is still here but lack of using the most Effective Solution to have him gone. It is not for lack of identifying the Solution it the lack of implementing the Solution. I suggest that We All as Gambians dispassionately take a look at the Document of MoU of NADD if you will NADD (2.0). We should commend the organizers and the thinkers of that great Enterprise, who at that material time saw nothing but the Common Good of The Gambia. Somewhere in that Document lies the Solution to Drive jammeh Out or Vote jammeh Out. By now we should pass the Blame Exercise difficult as that may be and Focus on salvaging Our Country. Yes it is difficult to pass the finger pointing; for I can speak to that first-hand when that particular provision in the Mou was not invoked to break the deadlock as the thinkers had envisioned. This was an issue I called and spoke to the late Hon. Assan Musa Camara ( May Allah Bless his Soul and grant him Jannah). He did express his desire to invoke that provision but that he was having difficulties because at that time the political waters have already been muddied. We are All to Blame for it including myself, maybe I have not tried good enough. The provision in reference is that which calls for ( here I am going on a limb since I do not have the actual wording-para ) the Selection by Consensus of a Non Partisan Individual to lead a Transition, level the field and open it for all other Aspirants.
This solution in my view is the most viable since it Takes away all Distractions- Partisan Posturing or Jockeying for Power and directs Our Focus on the Unifying Issue of getting jammeh Out. The Opposition Leaders upon consultation with their Party members and Civil Society can arrive at a Consensus; Select and Delegate a Credible Competent Gambian with the requisite Electoral qualifications to form a Transition Government that would run for a period shortest possible to level the field with safe guards to prevent the Individual to usurp the process.
We have as a Collective Two Options, to either Drive jammeh Out or Vote jammeh Out. Here I suggest we give deference to the Opposition Leaders to choose which Option they can best handle. Folks; let us not delude Ourselves it is going to be difficult and I am not using the word lightly here. In any event whichever Option they choose We all have to make sure we Execute the Process and Determine the Outcome which is to get jammeh OUT. What ever jammeh has or profess to have is no match to Our Collective Will; 'the optimism of the will overrides the pessimism of intelligence',  the dictum that made it for the ANC against apartheid. There are lots of questions that need answers for this proposal but since it is battle of Might and Ideas those questions can best answered Classified if the word suits. The most URGENT Issue now is to get the Opposition Leaders to agree to Invoke the Consensus Selection of a Non Partisan Individual contained in the NADD MoU and choose the Option they can best handle. This is the Honorable thing, the Right thing and the Reasonable thing to do.
This in my view is for the Opposition Leaders to Collectively Redeem themselves; having failed The Gambians for twenty years in which our compatriots are murdered, disappeared, tortured, abused, humiliated, our economy battered, the institutions decimated and our Social Fabric dented. So we Urge you in that Gambian Spirit of Brother’s Keeper and Sister’s Keeper Rally around a Consensus Solution and Salvage Our Homeland. We need Not Remind you the Opposition Leaders that by virtue of your positions; your inaction or failure to Agree to solve Our Country’s most Vexing Problem today which could be Existential would be a choice and the unintended consequences would reflect your choice. Inaction is NOT an Option NOW.  We do remember one member of your ‘club’ did make an Honorable Public Apology to the Gambian People for your Collective Failure in the past Election Cycles. We ask; do you as a Collective in Good Conscience think it Fair or Morally Right for you to put us through AGAIN for another Cycle of jammeh despotic rule? The GAMBIAN PEOPLE AWAIT YOUR RESPONSE AS A COLLECTIVE. WE RESPECT YOU, PLEASE RESPECT US BACK. PEACE.
        Farang.
