Hous, this is all a rediculous game. The issue is far greater than who use chemical weapons. There has been a war going on for two years with thousands of people dead. Instead of a concrete way to end the war, the super powers are distracting with red lines and chemincal weapons. Asad is a terrible dictator and should have chosen a less messy exit and save his country long ago.
A country is not and cannot be a compound of any leader...Asad, should have avoided the Gaddafi scenario. Do not let the West dictate anything, but then know when to depart the seat. The time is here when this unnecessary longivity in power will not be accepted. This is the fear in Saudi Arabia and other golf countries. They have to leave the powers to the people. The Western backed dictatorships have to end...Russia is a dictatorship and cannot continue to back Assad, whilst the US and Other western countries seems to careless how many people die, it is all population control game at the end of the day for them.
Death is nothing so long as it the 'others' who die. Assad have to go, whether he choses to do it now or later, he cannot rule over that country peacefully anymore. Dictatorships ends this way. The leftist or rightist may be arguing as to who is right or wrong, but the people of Syria wants permanent peace.. Assad cannot offer that. He has always been a dictator and cannot change now.
