He is going back to work quite soon. Next
week, one of the therapists is going to go to MacDonald's with Gretchen and
Everett. She wants to see what all he will be doing in case there is
something to work on that they haven't thought of. He has been driving the
car simulator at the rehab center and since he had his permit before his head
injury, Gretchen has been letting him drive with her in the front, that's the
law, on short trips and places like side streets where there isn't a lot of
traffic. He's been doing great. You can't even tell he has had a
brain injury. Even the rehab center says what they have seen is a miracle
so God is getting some of the credit even by non Christians you might say.
We sure appreciate all your prayers in recent weeks. This last 12 months
has been one thing after another with the Scovell family but no matter what, I'd
hate going through such things without the Lord. Some people say, "Oh,
well, you just use Christianity and Jesus as a crutch." I reply by saying,
"No, you are wrong. I use him for my whole hospital. In fact, I use
Him for everything in my life; I ain't proud just needy."
